Celebrating Ratha-Yatra in Montréal
An Unforgettable Experience
Experience the allure of ancient Vedic traditions in the heartbeat of the city as we replicate India’s largest Jaganath Puri Ratha-Yatra on earth right here in Montreal in which the special smiling deity of the procession makes its only public appearance for all to see. Everyone is invited to join us as we launch the festivity with an exotic Vedic ceremony that paves the way to a vibrant procession of smiling Montrealers and tourists singing and dancing with Vedic mantras and traditional musical instruments throughout the streets of Montreal leading to the park destination. The procession is an opportunity for all visitors to experience the sights and sounds of this mystical tradition that has been in practice for centuries. Some guests may choose to wear traditional or modern attire -whatever suits your comfort. We all proceed to meet at the park, where festivities continue with a wide range of cultural activities.

A Colourful Taste of Vedic India
Hospitality on the house. As part of the gratitude culture of bhakti yoga, we are honoured to present a full complimentary free meal to all of our guests. Prepared by our expert chefs in a professional kitchen, the Ratha-Yatra festivity has greeted and provided thousands of meals over the past +40 years.
The Mystique of Classical Indian Arts
Classical Indian music, dance and singing stems from India’s ancient Vedic civilization as a holistic form of connection through emotional expression in movement, facial expressions and sound. It is impressive that these ancient art forms continue to thrive within and beyond modern India, with cultural influences extending beyond borders. The appreciation for symbolic and classical Indian Vedic culture continues to have a mystical, exquisite and unique global appeal on generations of intrigued audiences, cultural enthusiasts and the entertainment and wellness industry.
Bhakti Yoga
Bhakti Yoga is a section of Vedic knowledge to help develop a better sense of self and awareness from mantra meditation to kirtan (to singing mantras) and numerous other types of activities. The Festival also features a wonderful collection of books in the Vedic Bookstore for more information on the science of bhakti yoga culture.

The location and dates for our 45th annual Ratha-Yatra in 2025 will be announced soon! Follow us to stay connected.
